Construction 

We enjoy building anything from houses, additions and renovations to outbuildings and garden structures.  Whether we are preparing a foundation or building a fence panel, we strive for accuracy, efficiency and longevity in all our construction projects. 

We understand that a builder’s duty goes beyond the immediate goal of making some money.  This duty of course includes the customer, but also extends to the overall integrity of the house, neighborhood, and the environment as well.  There is no task in construction that does not need careful effort to bring a good result   

Municipal governments are increasingly involved in even small projects.  So complying with building codes is unavoidable.  These codes are not unreasonable and have developed over time to meet health, safety and home energy efficiency short falls from the past.  We strive for an agreeable relationship with municipal inspectors.  We also like to go further and suggest increased thermal and sound proofing construction methods to make your home even more comfortable. 

Building is a craft that is proven over time.  Our goal is to create objects and spaces of enduring usefulness, beauty and comfort.
